The District of Arizona Bankruptcy Court is pleased to announce the appointment of Judge Madeleine C. Wanslee as Chief Bankruptcy Judge, effective March 17, 2026.

The Court also extends our sincere appreciation to Judge Eddward P. Ballinger for his dedicated service and leadership as Chief Judge since 2022. The Court is deeply grateful for Judge Ballinger’s many contributions to the Arizona Bankruptcy Court and the administration of justice in Arizona.
