BUILDING ACCOMMODATIONS
Phoenix Federal Building (230 N. 1st Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85003)
- Public Access: Located along 1st Avenue between Van Buren & Monroe
- Accessible Entrances: Ramps are located on the north and south sides of the public entrance with automatic door openers available via wall-mounted buttons
- Elevators: Three (3) public elevators provide access to all court floors and accommodate wheelchairs and motorized scooters, and also include braille signage and accessible emergency call features
- Courtroom Access: Courtroom doors are equipped with automatic door openers
- Fire Alarm System: Equipped with audible alarm speaker and strobe indicators
- Braille Signage: Braille signage is available throughout the building
- Accessible Restrooms: Handicap-accessible restrooms are available on each court floor
- Family Accommodations: Baby-changing stations are available in the public restrooms, and a private room for lactation purposes may be provided by reservation - please contact the court's Space and Facilities Specialist, Tommie Wills, at 602-682-4978
- Parking: Handicapped parking is available at many parking establishments close to the building
James A. Walsh Federal Courthouse (39 S. Scott Avenue, Tucson, AZ 85701)
- Public Access: Located on the corner of Broadway and Scott
- Accessible Entrances: Ramp is located on the east side of the public entrance with an automatic door opener available via the wall-mounted button
- Elevators: Two (2) public elevators provide access to all court floors and accommodate wheelchairs and motorized scooters, and also include braille signage and accessible emergency call features
- Fire Alarm System: Equipped with audible speaker and strobe indicators
- Braille Signage: Braille signage is available throughout the building
- Accessible Restrooms: Handicap-accessible restrooms are available on each court floor
- Family Accommodations: A baby-changing station is available in the first-floor public restroom, and a private room for lactation purposes may be provided by reservation - please contact the court's Space and Facilities Specialist, Brieanna Stell, at 520-202-7532

COURTROOM ACCOMMODATIONS
Pursuant to Judicial Conference requirements, the Court provides reasonable accommodations to ensure access to court proceedings for individuals with disabilities, including those who are deaf or hearing-impaired. This may include accommodations such as sign language interpretation, assisted listening devices, closed captioning for virtual hearings, or other reasonable accommodations.
Individuals requesting an accommodation should submit a request for review by the Court's Accessibility Coordinator(s) as far in advance as possible, but no later than two (2) weeks prior to court proceedings.
