2025 Amendments to Federal and Local Bankruptcy Rules Effective December 1, 2025

The Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure are set to be amended and include amendments to:
• Rule 3002.1: Chapter 13—Claim Secured by a Security Interest in the Debtor’s Principal Residence
• Rule 8006: Certifying a Direct Appeal to the Court of Appeals

Form 410C13-N, Trustee’s Notice of Payments Made, Committee Note and Instructions
Form 410C13-NR, Response to Trustee’s Notice of Payments Made, Committee Note and Instructions
Form 410C13-M2, Motion Under Rule 3002.1(g)(4) to Determine Final Cure and Payment of Mortgage Claim, Committee Note and Instructions

In addition, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona has approved technical amendments to Local Rule 2084-4 to ensure conformity with the forthcoming amendments to the Federal Rules Bankruptcy Procedure, effective December 1, 2025.
