Presides in Tucson Courtroom 329

 

EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 3, 2025: All hearings before Judge Gan, except Reaffirmation Hearings, are in person in Courtroom 329.

Important Notes:

  • Reaffirmation Hearings will continue to be conducted via ZoomGov Video.
  • Unless Judge Gan orders otherwise in a particular case or proceeding, Tucson parties, Tucson attorneys, and Tucson witnesses must appear in person.
  • ZoomGov video attendance will continue to be available for all participants located outside of the Tucson metropolitan area.

In accordance with federal judiciary policy, audio access to members of the public and the media is prohibited for trials, evidentiary hearings, and all matters in which there is live testimony. In such instances, members of the public and the media are still free to observe such proceedings in person in Courtroom 329. This is a nationwide mandate and not subject to the Court’s discretion.

All interested parties are directed to review the case docket to confirm the manner in which the Court will conduct a specific hearing. In general, hearings in Tucson will be conducted in person.  Interested parties located outside of the Tucson metropolitan area will be allowed to appear via videoconference using the Zoom for Government platform.  Please review Section II. of the "Calendaring & Appearance" tab for additional instructions.
