Mortgage Modification Mediation

The United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona, pursuant to General Order 23-2, has now expanded its Mortgage Modification Mediation Program to include individual debtors in cases pending under Chapters 11, 12 and 13, and in cases filed under Chapter 7 on or after July 1, 2023, and applies to all types of real property. The new MMM Program Procedures, new official MMM Court Forms, and an MMM Checklist for Pro Se Debtors are posted below.

The Bankruptcy Court will not force any modification and will make no adjudication except with the consent of both parties. Any signed agreement reached at mediation must be approved by the Bankruptcy Court before it is binding and enforceable.
